WINTER ACADEMY'S
HEAD TRAINERS:
Julius Summerville will be accompanied by a host of the very best Explosion trainers. Explosion FC is one of the top Futsal programs in the country with several Futsal League Championships, State Cup Futsal Championships, Northeast Regional Futsal Championships as well as National Futsal Championship awards. Don’t let your players miss out, learn from the best in the country. It is a proven fact that the best professional clubs in the world attribute a large portion of thier success to small sided, close quarters training. These training seminars in the cold weather winter months definately correlate to success and abilities of players when the warmer weather outside begins again in the spring. There is something for all players of all age groups with EFC academy training!!!
JUNIOR ACADEMY  
OBJECTIVE:
The goal of the Explosion Junior Academy is to improve the individual foot skills of each player and to improve small group tactical awareness. This program will help to prepare the young players for the club environment while ensuring that every participant has a positive experience.
AGE GROUP, GENDER AND ABILITY:
The Explosion Jr. Academy is geared towards U6 to U12 boys and girls. We will group players by a combination of age, size and ability to ensure we challenge each player while affording many opportunities for each child to succeed. It is our expectation that each participant maintains a level of focus and interest in taking their game to the next level. These participants are NOT members of EFC and are looking to increase their training for an opportunity to join a club team!
SKILLS ACADEMY  
OBJECTIVE:
Skills training will focus on developing the agility and speed required in soccer and teach competitive evasive and defensive ball-handling skills. Some of the more advanced ball skills of fast footed control. Technique and decision making process reviewed in detail. Basic maneuvers and the fancy stuff are supported in this academy.
AGE GROUP, GENDER AND ABILITY: These participants are current members of EFC. The skills academy is our most popular program. Program geard towards boys and girls u10 thru u14 members. Some older members may choose to participate as well.
STRIKER ACADEMY 
OBJECTIVE:
Scoring goals is the key to winning soccer games, and the goal-scorers are the players that get the most attention! This program offers players a chance to focus totally on improving and sharpening this crucial element of their soccer skill-set.
The focus of the striker school is to teach players the skills directly related to scoring goals. Our Striker School emphasizes the techniques of turning, shooting, heading, volleys, runs in the box, and combinations in the attack.

KEEPER ACADEMY 
OBJECTIVE:
In a soccer team the goalkeeper has a very particular role, a mission in the team different from the rest of the players: it is to prevent the ball to go inside within his or her own net. For it the goalkeeper that has the privilege, granted by the regulation, of being able to use the hands within its area of penalty (having at the moment prohibited it in certain situation). By all this, it needs training with technical, tactics, reaction, physical and psychological characteristics different to the rest of the players. The keeper is the field general. This is typically the only person that can see the whole field. This program is taught by EFC professional goalkeeper instructors. Training will be segragated by time frames for older and younger age groups. This program is REQUIRED OF ALL CLUB KEEPERS DURING WINTER TRAINING SESSION. NO FEE FOR THIS PROGRAM FOR ALL EFC REGISTERED MEMBERS AND KEEPERS!
KATTS ACADEMY 
OBJECTIVE:
This program is intended for Keepers not currently registered with EFC. The program is the same as described in the EFC Keeper academy.
The Mission of Explosion FC is to provide youth with the opportunity to develop soccer skills and to play soccer with quality coaching in a positive environment that promotes good sportsmanship, leadership, character development, personal integrity, and self discipline.
